September has been a busy month for Team Tapad! We took over Advertising Week, introduced a new cross-device optimization metric to the marketplace, Viewable Exposure Time (VET), and made the 2016 Inc. 5000 List of America’s Fast-Growing Companies for the second year in a row.
We are so proud of Tapad’s new cross-device metric. VET is used for evaluating digital transactions and offline purchases as a key indicator of marketing budget well spent. It measures campaigns across screens and ad formats, identifying the optimal amount of time a consumer spends with an ad before they take action. VET will effectively increase conversion rates at the lowest cost. To learn more about VET visit Tapad.com or read the press release.
In addition to attending events worldwide, Tapad hosted our third annual Unify Tech Summit at the NASDAQ Marketsite during Advertising Week New York to educate, encourage and innovate change and growth within our industry. Unify Tech Summit featured a diverse and dynamic lineup of speakers including Bob Garfield of NPR’s On the Media; Mahzarin Banaji, a Harvard social psychologist and author of “Blindspot: Hidden Biases of Good People”; Scott Hagedorn, CEO, of Omnicom’s newly launched, Hearts & Science; and T.J Miller, Erlich Bachman of HBO’s Silicon Valley. Furthermore, Tapad was featured in three additional events at Advertising Week New York, including a seminar, Find Who Matters: A Simplified Look at the Complex Consumer, a workshop, New Approaches to Viewability - Measuring What Matters in a Cross-Device World and a panel discussion about bringing brands in-app. You can find more information about Tapad’s Unify Tech Summit here.
Tapad’s investment in corporate growth has not gone unnoticed. This month we announced a year-long partnership with Hotels.com and scored the highest in every category of measurement in their partner evaluation. After a rigorous, three-and-a-half month vendor analysis, Tapad achieved twice the precision of the next highest-scoring cross-screen offering and three times greater scale
