August Round-up: Tapad Announces The Propeller Program, Wins Tech Culture Award, Doubles Down on Data Science Innovators

As we say goodbye to summer, it’s great to reflect on what a big month August was for Team Tapad. We introduced the Propeller Program, and entrepreneur fostering program through which Tapad will mentor five early-stage Norwegian startups to set them up for global expansion. In addition to providing C-level guidance and introductions to VCs, the mentorship initiative will grant full access to Tapad’s U.S. network, facilities, events and cultural activities. In addition to supporting new talent with the Propeller Program, we invested further in Team Tapad with the addition of two new data scientists, Shawn Simpson and Rouzbeh Gerami. In their newly created positions, Shawn and Rouzbeh will use predictive modeling, data mining and graph algorithms to increase Tapad’s platform capabilities, driving customer value while also further developing the Tapad Device Graph™. They will work closely with the product, analytics and engineering teams.

Tapad’s investment in corporate growth has not gone unnoticed. This month we received accolades from two prestigious industry leaders, making the Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Private Companies list, and winning the TMCnet Tech Culture Award. Among the reasons we received the Tech Culture Award were: Team Tapad’s access to the CEO, our atmosphere of collaboration and our fun, relaxed work environment.
