As with most workplaces post-Super Bowl, Team Tapad spent the day discussing last night’s close game and everyone’s favorite ads. (+ a few mentions of all the great Katy Perry memes).
This was an especially fun Super Bowl year for Tapad, as we witnessed first hand some really creative, unified cross-device ad promotions leading up to the big game.
Brands like Budweiser accumulated more than 10 million views before game day even arrived. Snickers teased their spot with device-centric ads on phones and tablets, in addition to encouraging fans to share the teaser via social media campaigns. We were so thrilled by this Super Bowl’s creative prospects, we even put together tips on how to score a cross-screen touchdown, which MediaPost published last week.
So today, in celebration of advertising’s biggest event of the year, we rounded up the water-cooler discussed, vote-approved Tapad-fan favorites:
1st place: Dorito’s “Middle Seat”
Why? We applaud that this hilarious video was fan-created. Super cool of you, Doritos! Most everyone here could relate.
2nd place: Budweiser’s “Lost Dog”
Why? This ad made even the most deadpan Tapader misty-eyed, proving this team has a sensitive, animal-loving side.
3rd place: Always’ #LikeAGirl
Why? Our favorite Tapad charity? Girls Who Code. Need we say more? #girlpower
